Getafe Submit Formal Offer to Free Agent Jadon Sancho Amid Wage Cap Obstacles

La Liga side Getafe have intensified their efforts to sign 26-year-old winger Jadon Sancho following his departure from Manchester United as a free agent. According to reports from DAZN and Sky Sports, the Spanish outfit have presented a formal contract offer to the England international and remain in ongoing negotiations with his camp.

However, the potential deal faces significant financial hurdles regarding Sancho's wage demands and La Liga's strict salary cap regulations. Having recently secured the signing of Dani Carvajal, Getafe's hierarchy is currently exploring structural solutions to fit the winger's salary within their financial limits.
