Mason Greenwood Endures Hostile England Return as Aston Villa Thrash Fenerbahçe 6-0

Mason Greenwood’s first appearance on English soil since 2022 turned into a nightmare as Fenerbahçe suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat against Aston Villa at Villa Park. 

The 25-year-old forward was subjected to hostile jeers and relentless booing from the home fans every time he touched the ball. Manager Ismail Kartal eventually substituted Greenwood in the 70th minute to end his ordeal. While Nicolas Jackson starred with a brilliant performance for Villa, the humiliating result plunged the Turkish side into a severe sporting crisis.
