Cologne’s hierarchy has admitted they could eventually sell young winger Said El Mala despite him recently extending his contract until June 2031. Sporting director Thomas Kessler stated that the club would calmly discuss a transfer if a major club comes calling in the future.

The 18-year-old forward, who has recorded 5 matches and 2 goals this season, is being closely monitored by several Premier League clubs. While Cologne intends to keep the player for the entirety of the current season and reject winter offers, they are expected to command a fee exceeding 60 million euros in the summer transfer window if his upward trajectory continues.
