Manchester United Fines Lisandro Martinez Following Outspoken Interview Criticism

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has been officially punished with a fine following a controversial post-match interview after their 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid. The 28-year-old publicly criticized technical director Jason Wilcox, stating he expected more from the club's leadership regarding their summer transfer business.

Although Martinez subsequently issued an apology on social media, admitting his emotions and frustration got the better of him after the loss, the club's hierarchy and INEOS deemed the apology insufficient to avoid formal disciplinary action.
