Everton Targeting New Striker in January as David Moyes Eyes Winter Reinforcements
Everton are planning to rectify their summer transfer mistakes by signing a new central striker in January. Following the sale of Beto to Fiorentina and a failed deadline-day pursuit of Folarin Balogun—alongside missed attempts for Joshua Zirkzee, Tammy Abraham, and Taty Castellanos—manager David Moyes was left with just one recognized striker, Thierno Barry.
Although Barry has started all eight matches and scored six goals, Everton are preparing to bolster their attacking options. Esteban Lepaul and Dion Beljo have been placed on the club's shortlist ahead of the winter window. Furthermore, ownership uncertainty surrounding the Friedkin Group's attempts to sell the club will not hinder winter investment.
