AS Roma Monitoring Stuttgart's Young Central Defender Gabriel Zarrella

Shifting their transfer strategy toward securing high-potential young talents, AS Roma have set their sights on Gabriel Zarrella, an 18-year-old central defender from VfB Stuttgart's youth academy. A regular in the UEFA Youth League, he is widely regarded as one of the most promising prospects in the German club's youth ranks.

With his current contract expiring this coming June, the Italian side is keeping a close watch on his evolving situation. Meanwhile, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) is actively working behind the scenes to convince the German-born defender—who holds Italian roots—to commit his international future to the Azzurri over Brazil.
