Barcelona Facing Defensive Injury Crisis Ahead of PSG Clash

While Luis Enrique will be without Nuno Mendes for Tuesday night's match, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is also dealing with major selection headaches due to key injuries. According to the Catalan club, 25-year-old starting right-back Eric Garcia has been ruled out for three to four weeks, meaning he will miss both the PSG fixture and El Clasico. His usual replacement, 27-year-old Jules Kounde, is also unavailable to face PSG, and his participation in the match against Real Madrid remains in doubt. Additionally, Mundo Deportivo reports that Gerard Martin, a regular starter in central defence alongside Pau Cubarsi, is doubtful due to discomfort picked up during the away trip to Real Betis. This defensive crisis presents a significant challenge for the Barcelona coach.
