PSG Blow as Nuno Mendes Ruled Out of Champions League Clash Against Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain's worst fears have been confirmed as 24-year-old left-back Nuno Mendes is officially ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League encounter against Barcelona after being forced off injured in Saturday's 3-1 win over Strasbourg. His absence is a major blow for Luis Enrique, especially given the unstoppable form of 19-year-old Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, whom the winger previously acknowledged as the toughest opponent he has ever faced.

With Mendes sidelined, Luis Enrique must get creative to neutralize the young Spaniard. While Lucas Digne is a natural replacement, his recent form has been unconvincing, leaving the coach weighing alternatives such as starting Lucas Hernandez or deploying Warren Zaire-Emery at left-back. All eyes will be on the Parc des Princes to see how PSG's manager solves this tactical dilemma.
