Barcelona Re-Enter Race for Stuttgart Defender Finn Jeltsch Following Defensive Struggles

Recent setbacks against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have exposed FC Barcelona's defensive vulnerabilities, forcing the club to reconsider their options in the transfer market. Following summer departures and injuries to key players including Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, and Xavi Espart, Hansi Flick's squad has been left thin at the back.

According to Sport, Barcelona have renewed their interest in 20-year-old Stuttgart center-back Finn Jeltsch. Rated as one of Germany's brightest defensive talents, Jeltsch remains under contract until 2029 with a release clause set at €60 million. While the Catalan club is keen on securing his signature ahead of the winter window, his hefty valuation makes a January transfer unlikely.
