Marco Asensio Linked with Potential Return to Real Mallorca on Conditions

Fenerbahce winger Marco Asensio has made a strong start to the campaign, scoring 2 goals in 3 appearances as the 30-year-old Mallorca native rediscovers his best form following previous injury setbacks. Now in his second season in Turkey, speculation regarding a future return to Spanish football has begun to mount.

According to TuttoMercato, rumors suggest that Asensio could make an emotional return to his boyhood club, Real Mallorca. However, any potential move before his current contract expires in 2028 is contingent upon Mallorca securing promotion back to La Liga by 2027. Furthermore, bridging the financial gap will be a significant challenge, given that the player's current annual salary stands at €10 million.
