Ansu Fati Sidelined for Six Weeks Following Hamstring Injury

AS Monaco's 23-year-old forward Ansu Fati has suffered another injury blow, ruling him out of action for over a month. The former Barcelona attacker was forced off just 15 minutes into Monaco's Ligue 1 clash against Lille, with team-mate Mathys Detourbet coming on as his replacement.

According to French outlet Nice-Matin, subsequent medical tests confirmed that Fati sustained a hamstring injury. As a result, he is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks, ruling him out of key upcoming fixtures against Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Auxerre, Angers, Le Mans, Nordsjaelland, and Hearts.
