Eder Sarabia Appointed New Head Coach of Espanyol

Following his departure from Elche, whom he successfully guided to the First Division, Eder Sarabia has accepted an offer to become the new head coach of Espanyol. He replaces Manolo Gonzalez, who was dismissed following a disappointing Copa del Rey exit.

According to the club's official statement, Sarabia has signed a contract running until June 30, 2028. He will be joined in the coaching staff by Jon Lopez, Jon Moreno, Aitor Unzue, and Alvaro Gonzalez, marking a return for the former player who previously made 82 official appearances for the Catalan club.
