Goncalo Ramos Opens Up About Difficult PSG Stint and Record-Breaking Move to AC Milan

Following his club-record 74 million euro transfer to AC Milan, 25-year-old Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos has reflected on his three-year spell with Paris Saint-Germain in an interview on Canal 11's "Soltinhos pelo Mundo". Despite recording 45 goals in 131 matches for the French giants, Ramos admitted that the lack of consistent starts took a heavy mental toll on him, though he deliberately maintained strict professionalism to turn his frustration into motivation.

Ramos revealed that he initially pushed to leave PSG during the winter transfer window, but the club blocked the exit until a replacement could be found. With assurances from Luis Campos and following a personal phone call from manager Ruben Amorim, alongside the work of agent Jorge Mendes, the move to Lombardy was finalized in the summer. While thrilled to secure regular starting duties and adapt to life in Italy, Ramos confessed that leaving the tight-knit squad in Paris was an emotional farewell.
