Liverpool Target Borussia Dortmund Midfielder Felix Nmecha to Bolster Squad
Looking to strengthen their midfield, Liverpool have set their sights on 26-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, a player favored by manager Andoni Iraola. Reports indicate that securing the player mid-season will prove both difficult and costly; while a release clause of 80 million euros becomes active in the summer, Dortmund have currently slapped a staggering 100 million euro valuation on him.
The Merseyside club faces a similar financial hurdle with alternative targets, as Monaco have set a price tag exceeding 70 million euros for Lamine Camara, and Bournemouth demand no less than 100 million euros for Alex Scott. Reinforcing the midfield has become a priority for Iraola following Curtis Jones's departure to Inter Milan and ongoing doubts regarding the long-term future of Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.
