Bayern Munich Target 17-Year-Old Wael Mohya from Borussia Monchengladbach Amid Luis Diaz Injury

Bayern Munich are weighing up moves in the upcoming winter transfer window following an injury to Luis Diaz, who faces up to two months on the sidelines alongside growing concerns over his long-term form. According to journalist Christian Falk, the German giants have identified 17-year-old Borussia Monchengladbach versatile forward and winger Wael Mohya as a primary target. The Germany Under-21 international has notched three goals and one assist in nine matches this season, cementing his status as one of the country's most promising young talents.

Although Mohya's contract runs until 2028 and his market value stands at 17 million euros, Bayern will likely need to pay a significantly higher fee due to widespread interest. In addition to the Bavarian powerhouse, Liverpool and several clubs from Portugal and the Premier League are closely monitoring the youngster's situation, setting the stage for an intense transfer battle.
