Getafe Forced to Abandon Jadon Sancho Pursuit Due to Financial Demands
Getafe have officially missed out on the opportunity to sign Jadon Sancho. According to Marca, the English winger rejected a move to the Spanish club primarily due to financial constraints, as his wage demands of 3 million euros until the end of the season far exceeded Getafe's budget of roughly 10,000 euros per week.
Instead, Sancho is heavily linked with a lucrative move to the Middle East, where clubs are fully capable of meeting his high financial expectations. The former Manchester City academy product, whose career has seen him feature for Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, became a free agent last summer following the expiration of his contract with United.
